SPIRITUAL COMPANIONSHIP FOR OUR TIMES
Santa Fe Community Convention Center
Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA
April 22 - 25, 2021
March 12, 2020
Following a cascading series of developments on the Covid-19 front, including the announcement of the first three cases of the Coronavirus in NM yesterday, SDI has decided to reschedule our conference next month, by almost exactly one year, to April 22-25th, 2021.
We want to do all we can to ensure the safety of all participants as much as possible, and particularly those in the higher risk groups, so rescheduling seems like the wisest course of action.
Thankfully we have been making contingency plans for a while now, so the dates above have been confirmed by the Santa Fe convention Center. All of the conference hotels are working with SDI to honor this year’s arrangements next year. Ghost Ranch as well.
The plan will be to port as many of the features of the conference as possible wholesale from this year to next. That includes keynote speakers, institutes, workshops, journeys, retreat, and the timing and location for all of these. The structure will be maintained intact as much as possible, though there may need to be tweaks. We will of course keep you informed as we go along.
With all of that said, all of you have a couple of options:
Transfer this year’s registration as is to next year’s event. This will reserve your spot, with all of the options and selections you have made, in terms of workshops, institutes, journeys, and retreat, intact. And it will lock in the rates you have paid, including any and all discounts you have qualified for this year.
If you would like a refund (minus the $50 non-refundable fee), we will honor those requests as well. If, after that, you choose (as we hope you do!) to join us next year, you will need to re-register.
In terms of a reschedule of flights, please contact the airlines directly. Many are already waiving any change fees or penalties, and they are all likely to be increasingly flexible in the days ahead, given circumstances.
To transfer your payment to next year, please send an email with “your name – transfer” in the subject line to firstname.lastname@example.org.
To request a refund, please send an email with “your name – refund” in the subject line to email@example.com.
Wishing us all well as we navigate the next few months until a return to some semblance of normalcy. May you be in good health.

2021 Conference details coming soon
This conference is going to be a wonderful celebration. And you're all invited. But we're also inviting you to roll up your spiritual sleeves and join us in some important heart-work. You see, honoring our 30-year history is a beginning, but we're also determined to create a prophetic roadmap for the next 30 years.
Our purpose: To cast our arms wider, welcoming more and more people to the transformational gifts of spiritual companionship.
Our goal: To make this healing modality available to every person on the planet.
The world’s people urgently need the authenticity and connection that deep listening can engender. We, as spiritual caregivers, serve our brothers and sisters at the crossroads of prejudice and welcome, fear and love, fragmentation and wholeness, hate and joy, loss and community.
So, bring your vision, your heart and your grit to Santa Fe. Help us expand the community of our calling and honor those on whose shoulders we stand. Help us set SDI’s intention and direction for the next 30 years.
It’s going to be amazing.
Spiritual Companionship For Our Times Is...
We listen deeply to connect with the infinite.
Spiritual Companions access the deepest truths and support the spiritual transformation of self, others, and the world. We cultivate tools and means of traveling along this lifelong practice we call the spiritual journey.
We work to create freedom, dignity, and spiritual opportunity for all.
Our inward practice drives us towards compassion for a suffering world. We orient ourselves outward; facing and engaged with the work of the world.
We build community across boundaries of faith or spiritual tradition, practice, culture, race, and class.
We do not journey alone. We are invited into right relationship to ourselves, to one another, to our communities, to our institution, and to the earth.
